Baby wants to come early!!!

Well, today is my first day back at work since Tuesday. Turns out that I was in labor for almost 24 hours and didn't even know it! I mean, I knew that I was very uncomfortable...I knew that to sleep was impossible...and I knew something wasen't quite right...but Baby already??!! 7 weeks early!! So once a show of blood was present, away to the hospital I went to endure a good 5hours of testing. In that time, my cervix was at 1cm and I was 50% effaced!! I couldnt believe it! So they gave me a delightful (not really) shot that made me shake really bad, but stopped the contractions right away, I mean with in like 2 minuts! So about an hour after that, they started to come back again.... the solution....pills! So now I have to take these pills every four hours when ever I feel like I am contracting. Which is still pretty foggy to me, but I guess I will get there! Baby is doing very well, already 4lb as long as we can keep it in to oven to keep baking! But like I say all the time, if it is anything like its mommy, it will do what it wants....ohh are we in for it! God is Good and has blessed us with this experence, why I have no idea, but I know it is a blessing in some way shape or form.... Tho I do hope no other woman has to feel as scared as I felt that day! God is good! Blessings to ya'll!!

Dans Home!!!

Well, Dan has successfully made it through another AT. He was sent here there and everywhere thinking all along he was going to get to do some flood relief or tornado clean up and they never sent the unit to do any!! He was disapointed...always wanting to help. But he did finally get to work on some 'birds' tho - something that he doesnt get a chance to do very often. So he was happy about that. So between Hastings, Grand Island, and Ashland he got quite an experence with the group of soldiers he gets to be with. Lots of tornado warnings and scares, but he made it through ok. He even lost about 10 pounds!! And sent them all over to me, cause thats about how much I have gained since he has been gone!! Lamaze is going good too, Dan is going to make a great coach.... as long as we can keep him awake. These days, he is always dozing off!! But no worries, I have a feeling when that time comes I will have no problem keeping his eyes open and ready to help!! :) Only 7 weeks left!! Eekk!! Pregnant woman cant swim!!!

Well I just wanted to warn all of you pregnant woman that swimming isn't all its cracked up to be while pregnant! It turns out that first of all.... we float, uncontrolably!!! I took a deep breath went under and two kicks later found myself at the top!! Now, I figured that when I got in that gravity free pool I would feel soo great, almost normal again....but ohhh no!! I went to do the breast stroke, and realized that even though I am in water, I still can't stretch my body in that virtical manner. Sooo I thought maybe the back stroke, nope....cant do that either. So then what?? Well, I settled with leaning my head on the gutter while the rest of me floated up to the top, and I kicked my legs and moved my arms while staying in one place. I dont know if this is what the books want us to do, since they ALL say to go swimming while pregnant, but they dont tell us how....so trial and error it is! Hope you all got a laugh from the immage of me attempting to keep myself under water!! :) Mucho loves from all of us!! <3>
